[ARCHIVED] Washington County Bike and Pedestrian Plan - MOVE

Wash Cnty MOVE

Washington County Bike and Pedestrian Plan - MOVE

Washington County is creating a Bicycle and Pedestrian Plan and is seeking YOUR input. This plan will address the future of a county-wide bicycle and pedestrian network, building off of the existing network of sidewalks, trails, and on-street facilities.

This project kicked off in the summer of 2019 and as of February 2020, the planning process is well-underway. A number of community engagement events and an on-going web-based survey have informed the planning team and county staff where to focus efforts to improve safety and complete a comfortable network for biking and walking. The purpose of this survey is to gain even further insight into specific preferences and barriers that residents face. This information will assist in fine-tuning a network plan and future recommendations, as well as help to prioritize future opportunities.

For more information about the project to-date, please visit: https://www.co.washington.mn.us/bikepedplan

There are a few questions at the beginning of the survey that address demographic information, such as age, race, and gender. These questions are intended to help us understand if we are reaching a representative range of people from all over the county. All questions are optional and your contact information will only be collected if you prefer to receive email updates in the future regarding this project.

Thanks for taking a few minutes to complete the survey, and please contact Emily Jorgensen with questions about this survey or about the project.
