Due to last night’s storms, the city’s compost site will be open extended hours this week so residents can drop off tree debris. The extended hours are as follows: Monday (July 15) 7-3:30, Tuesday (July 16) 7-3:30 and Wednesday (July 17) 7 am – 7 pm. The City of Forest Lake compost site is located at 20001 Forest Boulevard North.
The City of Forest Lake's Compost Site Summer hours run June 5 through October 5. The City of Forest Lake's Compost Site is located at 20001 Forest Boulevard North and Forest Lake residents can drop off leaves/grass clippings and brush up to 3 inches in diameter at no charge (be prepared to show proof of residency).
Summer hours for the compost site are as follows:
- Wednesday 1:30 pm - 7:00 pm
- Saturday 9 am - 4:30 pm
