[ARCHIVED] Hunting Regulations in Forest Lake

Chapter 130.06 of the City of Forest Lake city code regulates where Firearms

and other weapons can be discharged with in the City of Forest Lake. The

code allows for firearms and other weapons to be discharged in area zoned

as Conservancy (C), Agricultural (A), and Rural Residential (RR) districts. The

map found on this page has the areas where firearm/bow discharge is allowed

within the City shaded in green.


Waterfowl hunters are also able to discharge firearms on and near public

waters as long as they are in compliance with the regulations of the State of

Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.
